| Welcome to the website of the Somerton Bowling Club, one of Adelaides 'Premier' Bowling Clubs. Our well managed club continues to grow and prosper and our membership has passed 450 (and is still growing).
Our greens are regarded as amongst the best in South Australia and our newly renovated clubhouse gives us (arguably) the best facilities of any bowling club both on and off the greens. Whether you want to play competitive bowls, enjoy the social activities or perhaps hire the facilities for a special occasion, Somerton is the club for you. |

The Bowling Club is situated on King George Avenue at Somerton just a few minutes from Glenelg and 30 minutes from the CBD. Corporate and themed events are all catered for by our very experienced staff, ensuring clients professional service for their functions. There is seating capacity for 180 – 200, leaving a large dance floor area should you require it. | |

| Each summer, Somerton enters a large number of sides in the Bowls SA Metro League and Premier League competition. In the 2009 -2010 season we had the following sides: |

Night Owls
Premier League
| Somerton runs a very popular and well attended night owls program during the summer season. Meals are available before the game 6-7pm from $10. All equipment will be provided by the club at no extra cost. Participants need only wear casual clothing and flat-soled shoes. | |

| Premier League Somerton has sides in Premier 1 & Premier 2 South on both Saturdays and Wednesdays. All Premier League fixtures, results and ladders can be viewed at the Bowls SA website. Premier League Squad Squad training is Friday nights. All squad members are also required to do a 48 bowls test each week. Coaching is available upon request.
